The Original LapDesk Company, est. 1975, was founded by Micheal and Russell Jennings.  They invented the Original LapDesk with a flow-able lap pad, under U.S. Patent number 4,052,944.

For many people, over the past thirty years, LapDesks have provided portable, comfortable, and stable personal work stations. Whether it was for crafting, dining, writing or reading, LapDesks have provided a great convenience along with comfort and stability.

Today, laptop computers are everywhere and used for everything. Graphic designing, emailing, business planning, homework, writing, social networking, and many other sorts of projects.

The Original LapDesk Company is still a family business, and is now being run by the third generation. Our newest line of LapDesks, called LapGear^®, offers several new solutions that provide better mobile workspace solutions for laptop computer users.

We will be launching our newest LapDesk, Media CoolSurf^®, Q4 2010. The Media CoolSurf^® will be equipped with all the Deluxe Computer LapDesk features along with added Hi Def speakers for boosting the laptop sound or just playing some music on an mP3 player while you work!
